At the 2019 Policy Summit in March, we caught up with each of the Policy Chapter Chairs to get a brief overview of the work conducted in 2018 as well as the upcoming priorities for 2019.
Professor Leanne Boyd MACN is the Chair of the Workforce Sustainability Policy Chapter and the Deputy Chair is Adjunct Associate Professor Alanna Geary MACN. This Chapter developed a White Paper which was launched at the Policy Summit this year. It examined the third tier workforce outlining current challenges and making recommendations for implementation into the Australian health and aged care systems.
The Chapter will look into developing a minimum data set for future Nursing Workforce Planning nationally this year.
