The Australian College of Nursing (ACN) is developing Nursing Pathways—a national career toolkit created by nurses, for nurses. Designed to support you at every stage of your career, the toolkit offers practical guidance to help you plan your next steps, build confidence, and explore new opportunities—whether you’re just starting out, developing your clinical skills, stepping into leadership, or shifting into a new role.
We’re currently conducting focus groups with nurses from across the country, spanning a variety of career stages, roles, and work settings. This consultation ensures the toolkit truly reflects the needs and realities of the nursing profession. The insights gathered will directly inform the development of the final resource.
Grounded in real-world input, Nursing Pathways aims to strengthen career clarity, support professional growth, and contribute to long-term workforce retention.

Help shape the future of nursing—join our virtual focus groups on Zoom to share your insights and help build a profession-driven toolkit.
