Since 2013, Australian College of Nursing (ACN) Fellow Dr Patricia Davidson FACN has held the role of Dean of the School of Nursing at Johns Hopkins University in the United States. In 2021, Dr Davidson is departing her role leading the world’s third-ranked nursing school to return to Australia to take up a position as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wollongong. She has made such a strong impression during her time as Dean that the hashtag #ThankYouDeanDavidson has emerged on Twitter which has seen tributes flowing from students and staff alike.
