Reforming Healthcare Policy for the Future Nursing Workforce
Every year ACN hosts the Policy Summit in Canberra. At the Summit, Policy Fellows, and Distinguished Guests have the opportunity to engage in high-level discussions regarding ACN’s policy strategy and wider issues affecting nursing and health care.
This year’s summit, themed ”Reforming Healthcare Policy for the Future Nursing Workforce”, promises to be an insightful and informative experience. The aim for the day is to foster a collaborative environment where thought leaders, policymakers, and nursing professionals can engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and develop actionable strategies to shape the future of healthcare policy.
Professor Mark Cormack from the National Centre for Health Workforce Studies at the Australian National University will be our keynote speaker. His expertise will undoubtedly inspire us as we navigate the future of healthcare policy.
In addition to the keynote address, the Summit will feature a panel discussion on “Optimising the Role of Nursing in Health Reform,” facilitated by Karen Cook. Following the panel discussion, there will be breakout groups where delegates can actively contribute to discussions on emerging issues.
