This unit of study introduces participants to leadership and management in the modern Australian healthcare system. Theoretical ideas around management, leadership, and organisations are explored, and participants are prompted to reflect on organisational culture and motivation.
The opportunity for deeper learning occurs as participants study contemporary economic, social, and political issues that influence the Australian healthcare system. Links between theory and practice are made through practical exercises and authentic assessment.
