Overview
The Pathophysiology and Physical Manifestations of Dementia microcredential will examine the prevalence and incidence of dementia to understand the impact of this condition on healthcare delivery. They will then explore the concept of dementia from two perspectives. The first will be from a medical perspective, whereby we will compare the standard features of the different causes of dementia to understand the pathophysiological basis for the physical manifestations of dementia. Secondly, a biopsychosocial perspective to understand the individual experience of dementia.
