Accommodation
For cancellation policies regarding accommodations, please check the specific hotel guidelines available on the website and the online registration page. Any changes to your original hotel booking must be sent via email to acn@aceo.net.au. Please note that verbal requests for changes or cancellations cannot be accepted, and hotels will not accommodate direct modifications.
Registration
Member Registration – To qualify for the ACN membership registration rate, your membership must remain valid until at least 25 October 2025. If your membership expires before this date, you will receive an invoice for renewal.
Payment
- At the time of booking, you are required to pay with a valid credit card; AMEX, Mastercard or VISA.
Substitutions
- Substitutions must be approved in writing by the original attendee, and any additional charges must be paid before the transfer can occur.
- Attendees are not allowed to share a registration.
Cancellations
To cancel your registration, please notify us via email. Refunds will be issued according to the following guidelines:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event will receive a refund less a $150.00 administration fee.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the event will not be eligible for a refund.
Alterations to the program, cancellation or postponement the event
- ACN reserves the right to make alterations to the event arrangements as published, either before or during the event.
- In the unlikely circumstance of the event being cancelled by ACN, a full refund will be made. Liability will be limited to the registration fee paid by the attendee.
- If, for whatever reason, the event is postponed or dates are changed, neither ACN nor aceo shall be liable for expenditure, damage or loss thereby incurred by the attendee.
Speakers at the National Nursing Forum
- Views expressed by the speakers at an event are their own. ACN cannot and will not accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the event or any material provided to attendees by the speaker.
Insurance
- If an attendee cannot attend the event for any reason, ACN will not be liable for any costs incurred. Attendees are responsible for securing appropriate insurance coverage related to their attendance.
- Neither ACN and aceo will not be responsible for any costs, charges, or fines that attendees may incur while at the event.
Photography and filming
For promotional purposes, there may be a professional photographer and/or videographer present during the event.
Attendees who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise the photographer/videographer onsite and remove yourself from the camera lens.
Additional terms & conditions for event speakers
- ACN may use the speaker’s name and presentation materials in promoting attendance at the event.
- As the NNF 2025 is a HYBRID meeting ACN will record the speaker’s session, and this may be reproduced. Speakers who do not wish to be recorded will not be able to present.
Waiver of liability
The Australian College of Nursing (ACN) and Australian Conference and Event Organisers (aceo) accept no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damages experienced by individuals or organisations as a result of their participation in or attendance at the event. This includes any outcomes arising directly or indirectly from actions or causes initiated, organised, or sponsored by ACN and aceo.
