The Australian College of Nursing (ACN) congratulates the 41 nurses and nursing students who have completed our 2021 Emerging Nurse Leader (ENL) Program. The prestigious leadership program supports the recognition and development of leadership skills in early career nurses across five stages, empowering individuals with the opportunity to be the very best they can be and lead others with the same passion.
The program is self-paced and self-driven over the course of nine months during which participants independently complete a range of activities to accrue the points required to successfully complete the program. Participants require a minimum 150 points to complete the program, with those achieving more than 250 points recognised with a High Achiever Award, a truly exceptional achievement!
ACN would like to especially acknowledge that the 2021 ENL Cohort completed the program during the challenging times of COVID-19 and congratulate them on staying connected and engaged despite their own personal and professional workplaces challenges. They have showed extreme resilience and leadership and we look forward to their ongoing valuable contribution to the nursing profession in the future.
