This unit of study will give the opportunity to develop, extend and integrate your existing knowledge and skills in relation to delivery of care to patients who have breast cancer.
This unit of study has been developed to provide the nurse greater insight into the disease and its impact, to enable them to develop appropriate care and support.
Diagnosis and current treatment options will be discussed to enable the registered nurse the skills needed to support in adjusting from diagnosis of breast cancer to subsequent treatments.
